One workshop, three trades

Everything comes off the same bench

Trade one

Decks

Short-run graphics on 7-ply cold-press maple. Street sizes, mid sizes and cruisers — set up complete on the bench so it rolls out the door ready.

8.0" – 8.5" · from $95
Trade two

Ink

Blackwork, fine line and mechanical flash by appointment. Plenty of first pieces, plenty of people finishing something they started twenty years ago.

Flash days & custom · $160/hr
Trade three

Press

Tees, hoods and paper prints. Cut regular, not cropped — a shirt you can wear to work on Saturday and still wear on Sunday.

Runs of 1 – 500 · S–3XL
The racks

Current series

Four graphics in the first run. Twenty-five of each, numbered on the tail, then they're gone — which is rather the point. Nobody else at the school gate has one.

Refinery Moth

Two-colour screen, rust on soot. The first one he drew, and still the best of them.

$958.25" × 31.75"

Piston No. 9

Brass on black, one pull. Cleanest graphic in the series.

Crow & Cog

Verdigris and brass. Mellow concave, kinder on old ankles.

Harbour Light

Auckland Point at 4am. Metallic brass ink, so it catches under lights.

Back on a board

Most people who order from here haven't stood on one since about 1998. That's the normal case, not the awkward one. Three setups, depending on how honest you're being with yourself.

The Cruiser

Start here

Wide, soft and forgiving. Rolls over Gladstone footpaths instead of stopping dead on them. Nothing to learn and nothing to prove — pushing one down to the shops and back is a completely legitimate use.

Wheels60mm, 78a soft

The Mid

Most ordered

Wide enough to feel planted, small enough to still do something with. If you skated a bit as a teenager and the muscle memory is in there somewhere, this is the one that finds it again.

Deck8.75" × 32.25"
Wheels56mm, 92a

The Street

You'll know

Proper street setup. Ordered by the ones who never actually stopped, and by the ones about to find out how much has changed since Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

Wheels53mm, 99a

Pads
Wrist, knee and elbow set — $70
Worth saying
Pads aren't embarrassing. Wrists are the ones that break.
Setup
Assembled, trucks tuned, grip laid — no charge
Trade two

Ink by appointment

Blackwork, fine line, mechanical and botanical flash. Custom work is drawn up before you sit — you see the stencil, you approve it, then we start. Nobody gets talked into anything.

01

Send the idea

Reference images, rough placement, rough size. “Something on the forearm, not too big” is a perfectly good starting point.

02

Quote and deposit

You get an hourly estimate back. A $100 deposit holds the date and comes off the final price. 48 hours notice to move it.

03

Sit down

Eat first, bring ID, no alcohol the night before. Bring headphones if you'd rather not chat — genuinely, that's fine.

$160/hr · $120 minimum · 18+ with photo ID, no exceptions. Cover-ups and finishing someone else's work are both welcome.

Print shop

Same artwork, three ways of getting it onto cotton. Which one you want depends almost entirely on how many you need.

The workshop

Online first. Shopfront next.

One person, one bench, in a town built on heavy industry. Everything is drawn here, printed here and packed here — the only things that come from away are the maple and the blanks. Small on purpose, and staying that way.

Now

Online store live. Decks, tees and prints ship AU-wide. Tattooing by appointment out of the private studio.

Early 2027

Shopfront, Goondoon Street end of town. Racks out front, print bench and one tattoo chair out back.

After that

Guest artists and flash nights. Late opening, low light, someone else's machine running in the corner.
